| Physik Instrumente (PI) übernimmt Mehrheitsanteile an der miCos GmbH |
Die Physik Instrumente (PI) GmbH aus Karlsruhe ist seit kurzem Miteigentümer der miCos GmbH in Eschbach bei Freiburg. Damit ergänzt PI sein umfangreiches Produktportfolio im Bereich der Mikro- und Nanopositionierung durch einen Spezialisten vor allem im Bereich der Vakuumanwendungen und der Systemintegration. Besonders im Bereich der Mikroposiitionierung erweitert PI damit sein Angebot an schnellen, hochpräzisen Systemlösungen, z.B. durch Luftlagertechnik und Linearmotoren. |

Künftig wird PI miCos als Tochterunternehmen der PI GmbH & Co. KG auftreten. Geschäftsführer bleibt weiterhin Lucius Amelung. Offering superior value to our industrial and research customer base, PI miCos offers complete system integration and design services in the field of motion control and optics, including software, electronics and mechanics. We specialize in especially demanding applications that require deep vacuum, extreme temperature, high precision and superiorperformance. Our deep know ledge base allows us to solve even the most demanding applications by consul ting with our customers from the very beginning of the design stage to the ultimate product or system delivery.
PI miCos employs over 60 PhDs, engineers and physicists as well as highly qualified technicians with specialties in motion control, robotics and optics. Equipped with state of the art machines, our in-house precision machine shop allows us to manufacture with high-precision and superior quality. After in-house assembly, ever y product is inspected by our quality department before it is delivered to our customers.
